Jalan Gebangcarang Dibangun Tahun Ini

LEMAHABANG, RAKA – Setelah banyak dikeluhkan, akses jalan yang menghubungkan Dusun Gebangcarang, Desa Lemahmukti, Kecamatan Lemahabang menuju makam Syekh Quro di Desa Pulobata nampaknya akan segera diselesaikan tahun 2020 ini. Hal itu di ungkapkan Wakil Ketua DPRD Karawang H Deden Rahmat.

Menurutnya, realisasi akses jalan menuju Syekh Qurotul’ain dari Dusun Gebangcarang, Desa Lemahmukti akan dibangun tahun ini, sesuai dengan usulan dan ajuan dari hasil resesnya tahun 2018-2019 di Lemahmukti. Perbaikan jalan tersebut merupakan janji yang telah ia utarakan agar masyarakat bisa dengan lancar melaksanakan ziarah ke makam Syekh Quro. “Sekitar 200 meter lagi, dan nanti kita dipasang penerangan jalan umum untuk menghindari kecelakaan dan aksi kriminal,” katanya.

Menurutnya, selain mempermudah para peziarah, jika akses ini diperbaiki akan mendongkrak roda pertanian dan ekonomi masyarakat sekitar desa Pulobata, Pulokalapa, Pulaomulya, Lemahmukti, termasuk Desa Jayanegara Kecamatan Tempuran. “Hasil reses tahun 2018-2019 itu, kita pastikan tahun ini tuntas realisasinya,” terangnya.

Setelah itu, ia juga bisa melanjutkan pekerjaannya dengan membangun jembatan di jalur lingkar Gebangcarang dengan lebar 4 meter di RT 05/03, agar akses roda dua bisa melintasi jalur tersebut. Karena jalan menuju Pulobata-Gebangcarang lewat Utara, tikungannya kurang pas bagi roda dua. Untuk itu, ia membuat akses baru disertai drainasenya meskipun harus menggerus lahan pribadinya. “Kita wakafkan saja untuk pembangunan turap agar para peziarah lebih mudah melintas menuju lokasi ziarah,” terangnya. (rok)
